Visit Your Local Fire Station Day
Get to know your local firefighters while helping EERI-NC assess the seismic vulnerability of fire stations. The Quake ’06 Local Government Committee will be collecting data and digital images of designated fire stations. If interested in volunteering for 4 hours on Sat. JUNE 18, 2004 WORKSHOP: DEALING WITH FEMA BEFORE & AFTER
The Quake '06 Local Government Committee and Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) co-sponsored a workshop for City/County staff interested in FEMA funding to reduce risks, both before and after disasters, i.e. FEMA'S Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant Program, PDM-C, and the Post-Disaster Mitigation Grant Program, HMGP.
